Old People Tech Support

Chances are you have either at some point tried to get technical help over the phone from someone you had a difficult time understanding, or you’ve been drafted as a tech support specialist for an older family member who understands the concept of telegrams better than Twitter. If so, this parody sketch of a tech service company is for you.

When I was a freshmen in college my great aunt Mildred, already in her nineties, decided to buy a laptop. To her credit that must have been intimidating, but great aunt Mildred was undaunted. One time she typed up an email, called our house, read it verbatim over the phone, then hung up. She thought that’s what an email was. It’s a good story but makes me wonder what I’ll be oblivious to when I hit decade nine.
